Mora O.

Mora R. Owens is a clinical faculty member for literacy for Urban Teachers in Baltimore and the Johns Hopkins School of Education. She previously managed the Aspire Institute for Equity and Access in Education at Wheelock College in Boston, a program that provides support, guidance and professional development to new teachers. She has also served as an alumni placement manager and clinical faculty for the Boston Teacher Residency Program. She has extensive experience coaching literacy teachers, tracking data and recruiting and hiring a diverse staff. She holds both a master’s and a bachelor’s in early childhood education from Wheelock College and completed a primary literacy training program at Lesley University in Cambridge, Mass.
