Darci Gueta is Urban Teachers’ lead clinical faculty for literacy in Dallas- Fort Worth and a professor with the Johns Hopkins School of Education. As a founding member of Urban Teachers’ Dallas-Fort Worth team, she developed the English as a Second Language curriculum used there. She previously served as an instructional specialist for the Dallas Independent School District, helping administrators and teachers improve student success. She is completing a doctorate in the supervision of curriculum and instruction at Texas A&M in Commerce, Texas.
She holds a master’s in educational leadership and administration from Dallas Baptist University. She began her career as a primary grade teacher and team leader at schools in the Dallas area. She is a passionate advocate for bringing top-notch teaching to children in underserved communities.
